Fillers are used to correct deep furrows around the mouth, enhance cheek bones, define saggy jawlines, restore baggy eyelids, and plump lips. There are many brands of fillers on the market that are FDA approved for this purpose. However, the group of fillers containing hyaluronic acid is among the safest, as hyaluronic acid is a natural compound of human skin. To date, very few allergic reactions or other side effects have been reported, and this procedure has become a very cost-effective approach to creating a more youthful face. Our practice is proud to offer the following treatments:

Treatment Options

RESTYLANE®

When we’re young, our skin is smooth and elastic with a healthy glow. As we age, our ability to maintain our skin’s smoothness and elasticity diminishes. As a result, our skin becomes drier, thinner, and less able to replenish itself. Our body’s natural collagen and hyaluronic acid levels decrease, and our skin becomes looser. This makes it wrinkled and older-looking than it should be.

Approved by the FDA, Restylane® is designed to match your skin, smoothing wrinkles, sculpting lips, or shaping facial contours. With its unique ability to bind with water, Restylane® is able to perform for many months in your skin. The most common areas for a Restylane® treatment are the glabellar lines (between the eyebrows) and the nasolabial folds (from the root of the nose to the angle of your mouth). When used for lips or facial contouring, Restylane® will add shape and volume to the area. Restylane® creates volume under your wrinkles, which are then lifted up and smoothed out.

Restylane®, manufactured by a unique method in Sweden, is transparent gel composed of hyaluronic acid, a natural substance that is found throughout your body. Hyaluronic acid gives volume to your skin and has been used as a lubricant in arthritic joints. It has even been used during eye surgery to protect the retina. The hyaluronic acid found in Restylane® is not of animal or human origin, which means that there is no risk of the disease transmittal or allergic reaction you might experience from other cosmetic fillers. There is no need for skin tests, and the risk of side effects is very low.

RADIÉSSE®

RADIÉSSE® and RADIÉSSE® are dermal fillers used for smoothing moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds (the creases that extend from the corner of your nose to the corner of your mouth). RADIÉSSE® is also used for correcting volume loss in the back of the hands.

KYBELLA®

Kybella® will minimize or eliminate a double chin by vaporizing fat deposits that accumulate beneath the skin. Results are dramatic and can make you look naturally younger and more beautiful with slight, if any, discomfort or downtime.
